Optimising Resilience
Feeling stretched too thin, running low on energy, burnt out or simply wanting to optimise your wellbeing? This weekend is designed to help you reset, recharge, and build resilience from the inside out.
Over two days, Imogen will guide you through a carefully curated blend of practices that combine science-backed approaches with time-tested traditions. Together, we’ll explore how to strengthen your nervous system, muscles, connective tissue, physiology, and mind—while giving you the practical tools to continue your journey long after the weekend ends.
Resilience is all about our natural ability to adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of challenge. Yet most approaches focus only on one side of the spectrum—either deep rest or intense training. This experience brings both together in a way that’s integrated, personalised, and deeply effective.
You’ll learn how to:
-
Boost energy and recovery
-
Improve sleep, focus, and concentration
-
Navigate stress, anxiety, and overwhelm with greater ease
-
Shift perspective to move beyond burnout and cultivate balance
Through dynamic movement, introspection, breathwork, and myofascial release, you’ll discover how to both challenge and restore your system—unlocking resilience as both a practice and a mindset. Prompts and modifications will allow you to tailor each session to your own needs and goals.

What You’ll Leave With:
-
Practical tools to continue supporting your resilience
-
Insights into your individual areas of focus
-
A refreshed perspective on your practice and wellbeing
-
A deeper understanding of how to use stress, recovery, strength, and MFR as lifelong resilience tools
All you need is some vinyasa experience. All levels welcome.

Day 1 : Saturday

Stress as a Resource
Stress isn’t the enemy—it’s information. When harnessed skilfully, stress can become a powerful ally: driving change, sharpening focus, fuelling energy, and helping to regulate the nervous system. In this session, we’ll explore how to reframe stress as a friend rather than a foe—one that protects us from danger while also pushing us toward growth and performance.
Recovery Your Superpower
True resilience isn’t just about how much you can do—it’s about how well you recover. Whether you’re training at an elite level or spending long hours at a desk, recovery practices can amplify your capacity for focus, energy, and longevity. This workshop will deepen your understanding of restorative yoga, yin practices, and breathwork as powerful tools to strengthen the parasympathetic nervous system and support healing.
Day 2 : Sunday

Decoding Resilience
Strength is about much more than building muscle—it’s about creating long-term vitality and resilience. Research shows strength training benefits everything from cognition and blood sugar balance to bone health and injury prevention. But alongside muscular strength, we also need functional movement, efficient biomechanics, endurance, and connective tissue resilience. In this session, you’ll learn practical ways to strengthen both muscles and fascia, enhance performance, and protect against injury—all while making your practice more sustainable across your lifespan.

MFR : Your Resilience Tool
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a simple yet transformative practice with far-reaching benefits for recovery, pain regulation, tissue health, and nervous system balance. This workshop is both an embodied self-assessment and a reset—helping you scan what’s happening in key areas of your body while offering quick, effective ways to release tension and restore ease.

Clare, Hampshire
I’d recommend a retreat with Imogen to anyone. The yoga teaching is comprehensive and holistic and caters for all levels and bodies. Her warmth and care for her students is always evident.
Sarah, Harpenden
Imogen is probably the best yoga teacher I have, ever been lucky enough to have. Her knowledge is exceptional and I love the way she has themes for the different seasons and little mantras that she repeats during lessons.
