In this retreat day Imogen is excited to share with you her knowledge and passion about working with the body's fascial system.
She will guide you through two different practices a dynamic flow practice in the morning and a yin practice in the afternoon both will include myofascial techniques that will help you to begin to understand and embody your fascial body, ultimately exploring how we can listen, feel and respond to bodily sensations from within for a more intuitive led experience.
Imogen will also lead an interactive workshop where she will unravel the simple science behind this body system - giving you an opportunity to ask questions.
What will be covered:
What is MFR?
The role the fascia plays in the immune system
The fascia as a sensory organ, it's relationship to the nervous system and it's ability to communicate
Ways a varied yoga practice supports healthy fascia
5 key areas of your body to work with at home
11am -1pm Dynamic Flow Yoga and Myofascial Release Practice
1-2pm : Lunch Break Offline
2-3pm : An interactive workshop on the fascia
3-4.30pm : Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release Practice
